Crime Reduction Unit investigates string of property crimes in West Shore, suspect facing over a dozen charges

After an extensive investigation into property crime in the West Shore, the West Shore RCMP Crime Reduction Unit identified a male suspect who is accused of committing numerous property crimes between March - April of 2023.

As a result of Crime Reduction Unit’s investigation,  Bradley Parsons who is a 36-year-old resident of the Greater Victoria Area, was arrested and brought before the courts on July 27.

Bradley Parsons has been charged with the following 18 offences:

Bradley Parsons was released by the court on July 27 and is bound by numerous conditions imposed by the court. He is set to appear in court on August 10.

Crime Reduction Unit officers put forth a tremendous effort in investigating these crimes. We will continue to address property crime in the West Shore by working with our Crime Analyst to identify crime hot spots and target chronic offenders, said Cpl. Danny Grieve, in charge of West Shore RCMP Crime Reduction Unit.

As this matter is before the courts the West Shore RCMP will not be making any further comments regarding the details of the investigations.
