File # 2021-3928

Police are currently investigating a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at a busy Langford intersection.

At approximately 5:20 P.M. on March 3rd 2021, West Shore RCMP responded to a report of a female pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle as she was crossing Veterans Memorial Pkwy at Goldstream Ave in Langford. The pedestrian was crossing the road eastbound when a vehicle described as a gold coloured 4-door vehicle conducting a left turn from Goldstream Ave, heading southbound collided with her.

The vehicle stopped briefly but left the scene promptly after, says Constable Alex Bérubé, Media Relations Officer for the West Shore RCMP. There were many vehicles around that intersection at the time and investigators are looking to speak with any witnesses that could provide crucial information in this case.
