Police looking for suspect in tool theft

Prince George RCMP is looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent theft of tools from a local hardware store.

The theft occurred on Monday, January 2, 2023, from a store located on the 5900-block of O’Grady Road. Surveillance shows the man loading a Milwaukee Chop Saw and two Dewalt Combo kits into a shopping cart and leaving the store with them.

The suspect is described as:

The total value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $1500. We are asking the public to contact the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 if they recognize the man from the surveillance image provided, or else if they see any of these items for sale in town or on online marketplaces, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
