Fort St John RCMP Arrest Break and Enter Suspect

On March 13, 2024 at 5:45pm, the Fort St John RCMP received a report for a residential break and enter in the area of 9100 block of 89th Avenue in Fort St John. Suspects gained entrance by breaking a window and then stole jewellery, vehicle keys, cash and gift cards.

Fort St John RCMP frontline police officers attended the residence and obtained evidence pointing to a potential suspect.

Frontline police officers attended the suspect’s residence and arrested two people.

A search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s residence and during the search, a significant portion of the items were recovered along with a small amount of ammunition seized.

The suspects were released by police with one suspect being released with a future court date of May 27, 2024. The name is not being released as charges have not yet been approved.
