The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing an image of an assault investigation suspect, with hope that someone will recognize him and contact police.

According to a report received Sept. 21, 2023, a man was at a restaurant on the 1700-block of the East Trans Canada Highway, when he allegedly became irate and assaulted an employee. He left in a 2015 grey Ford pickup truck.

So far, police have been unable to identify the suspect, and are releasing an image of him to the public in an attempt to further the investigation, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.

The suspect is described as:

• Caucasian male
• 50-60 years old
• Grey hair
• White beard
• Approximately 6
• Full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm, tattoos on both calves
• Black framed glasses

Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-34420.
